"As people know, VSC has been experiencing delays, particularly in H-1B petitions. Processing guideline of HQ has been 60 days. In order to resolve the problem, reportedly VSC has taken certain action, according to the AILA, at the request of HQ, which is a good news for certain area and bad news for other areas. VSC is currently focusing on H-1B petitions to reduce the processing times to the level of guidelines. People will soon see approval notices for H-1B petitions. Bad news is that because of the limited resources, VSC has to cease processing I-140 immigrant petitions during the period of on-going H-1B processing times reduction campaign."

But VSC is still processing I-140 Redo cases. My I-140 redo
case is approved on Jan. 18, 2001.

Did you get RFE asking you to re-do I-140??
Or did you just file this anyway because your
company name changed/bought out/spin-off?

My organization is spinning-off and I am worried
about I-140 redo. It took me 6 months for my
I-140 before, I hope I don\'t have to wait that long
for re-do.

Thank you in advance,

The company file I-140 Redo after I got the RFE.
Some colleague of mine choose to file I-140 Redo
before gettting RFE. It is also OK.

I did not get I-485 approved yet. Yesterday I called
VSC and an ass hole IIO answered my question
very rude, said "It is pending, that is all I can tell"
and then said "It is going nowhere", Shit !
