RFE for employment letter and paystubs on Jul 11th 2001.
RFE responded on Jul 26th.
AVM changed to "case approved..." on Aug 2nd.
Received courtesy copy on Aug 9th.
Passport stamped at Dallas center on Aug 10th.
If anyone is planning to get passport stamped in Dallas,
try not to go on a friday as the situation there is terrible.
Had to queue up from 4:30 am. Finally got it stamped
at around 12:30 pm. Even at 4:30 am there were 150+ people
ahead of me in the queue.
I cannot emphasise enough how useful this site has been to
me during the green card process. In fact, it has been my
only source of information through months of frustration
in dealing with the INS and my attorney.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this message board.
Good luck to all of you and I hope and pray that everyone gets
their approval soon.
