Will there be any change in processing time in future, as of now its 19 months! But seeing Fridays approvals I think they are atleast trying to spped up!!:confused:
 
Do not "over expect" any thing from BCIS by just one days progress. The amount of approvals on Friday may be good. But its just not substantial enough compared to the HUGE backlog of applications. WE should see the Fridays approval rate everyday before we cn dare to think of processing time "recession"!

No, I don't think they work on Saturday, could be some immigrationholic went to work on Saturday. But I don't
think it's official that they work on Saturday!

I haven't found saturday cases for a long time. This is
first time I saw Saturday cases in several months. That
means they are speeding up. They have pressure now.
 
Where do you guys get all this information from? How do we know there is pressure and its working? I have not seen any approval today!!!!
 
I think BCIS is back to normal..

Mondays will usually be dull because they would start working on the cases only in the morning and it takes sometime for the system to get updated.

I think its more like this...

BCIS doesnt clear any files on Mondays.... Bcoz, they are in the weekend hangover....

On Tuesdays... they might get onto some pending stuff from last week... bcoz the week is just beginning for them...

They get to real work on Wednesdays.. might approve a case or two... or issue some RFEs...

Thursdays... the weekend is almost here... no work...

Fridays... Have to get ready and make plans for the weekend...
 
Never expect an approval on Mondays. Don't you feel lazy in office
on Mondays ? The IO will probably take half day for 1 file on Modays.

Can the company withdraw the 485 application?

What are the circumstances or conditions ?

What will be status of the person whose case is withdrawn ?

company can't withdraw 485, they can withdraw 140, if 140 is withdrawed, then 485 is denied. This could be someone is withdrawing his application if he gets approved with his wife(another application)or someone unable to reply a RFE because of unemployment. Or if primary applicant died, then the application is denied.
