Just spoke to VSC. The lady on the line gave the bullshit answer that the cases now take 2 years. My ND was Mar 99 and she said I would be processed by Mar 2001. I think VSC has hired this lady to give BS to applicant enquiries.

I was just trying to call IIO (first time I thought of trying!) and even called also and phone was busy.

Good that I did not get line Ha! At least my day is saved ;-)

I guess who ever the lady is, she is trying to mislead you. May be they are fed up with lot of calls on daily basis. We have our own frustrations and they their own frustrations.

I agree. But giving false info will not reduce the calls. People will just retry to get a better IIO. If they are frustrated, let them NOT PICK UP THE PHONE and update the auto-messages more regularly.
