I would appreciate a lot if you answer me this question and the question is does the premium processing include the LCA or not? bcos i am hearing different opinions about this some say all together it tooks 15 days and some people say it takes 15 days after the labor is cleared. So which way did it happen to you did u r lawyer got the labor clearance before applying it to the VSC

A co-worker of mine got H1B approved through premium processing today. Our employer does not give details about the application, but he wrote his check on Aug 16, 2002.

15 days is from the day the INS receives your $1000. The LCA is separate. Bu I dont think you have to wait for the 10 day LCA posting period for you (i.e. your employer) to submit the I-129.
 
Hi Murali,

I don;t know about the LCA, my case is, changed from normal processing to Premium Processing. For normal processing, ND is 24th June. Then changed to Premium Processing in Aug around 20th.

But, most of the (conulting) companies keep the LCA always ready, if not, then may be you have to wait for LCA to apply for h1b. But I am not sure about it.

When I called today, my H1B is approved in Premium Processing.

Service Center : VSC
Originally Applied : 24th June '02
Changed to Premium Processing : 19th Aug '02
Approved on : 26th Aug '02 (as per their automated system)

well, congrats. my H1 extension petition from April 16, 2002 is still pending. I went in for Premium Processing and it was received by NSC on 20th Aug 2002.
Still waiting....i've given up on this. i think i'm jinxed.
