How come people with RD in June 2000 are getting FP while other who filed in Oct 99 waiting for FP. Does this change I-485 adjucation. Can someone please please explain?

MY ND is also Jan 2000. I called VSC they told me that they will send FP when my case up for adjucation. This will not delay my case If that\'s the case, Why people with latter date are getting FP. Did any one of you hear the same thing from IIO.

My wife spoke to iio y\'day. First reply from iio was because priority date could regress. I don\'t know what she meant by that.
After some thought she said they are processing Aug 99 and they couldn\'t have sent FP notice for April/May 2000.
One of my theories is that since they are processing the "Other" category for ND April/May 00, the India/China cases might have slipped through.
The other theory is that VSC is deliberately processing after April 00 ND to start fixing the backlogs and they can later worry about Sep 99 to Mar 2000 applications.

PD 01/99, ND 12/99, EB2, India, I think INS processes cases in batches, and may be in couple of batches wrong applications went in ! Everybody makes mistakes !!!!
