VSC focussing on I-140 right now...

Just look the 140 approvals. They are processing Aug,Sept 2001 cases.
That explains why 485 processing has slowed down. I have been observing for
the last five months. They always switch back and forth between 140 and 485. Hopefully, they will be back to 485 next week or so.

Any comments?
 
is it bcos there are not many 140 applications?

Labour certification slowed down to its knees in last 8 months. So
there are not many 140 applications...?
 
not fair for Feb I140 filers

People who filed I140 in Feb, 2001 got serious delay for half year.
Now after I140 is approved around August, these guys catch
another turn of delay in I485. What is logic of VSC? Unbelievable.

These people simply unfortunately move in wrong direction. haha ..

Do not want to let this kind of things bother my life.
Trying hard to escape it.
 
Think from their(INS) perspective...

For them, it is a matter of meeting deadlines for two projects. So, they keep shuffling resources to meet these goals. They wouldn\'t worry
about perceived injustices to a few applcants for the bigger goal (which makes sense for a management freak, for good or bad.....).

Yeah. But when I applied for 140 it got adjudicated after 1 year and when I applied the PD was current when I got approved it was not. I had to wait for 6 months to get my PD current.
