Vsc Ead Urgent!!!

VSC 485/EAD/AP (FOR SELF/WIFE). ALL APPLICATIONS:
RD:6/6/2001
ND:8/6/2001

AP APPROVED (FOR BOTH SELF/WIFE): 8/9/2001

JUST CALLED AVM AND WIFE\'S EAD APPROVED ON 8/16/2001.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, MY EAD HAS AN RFE. THE RFE LETTER
WAS MAILED AS OF 8/17/2001.

I MAILED THE CORRECT FEES, SIGNATURE FORM, AND I-765
FORM AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS WITH THE EMPLOYMENT
PACKAGE.

WONDER WHAT THE RFE IS FOR???

ALSO, MY 6-YR H-1B EXPIRES AS OF 9/26/2001. SO HAVE TO
GET THE EAD OR APPROACH LOCAL INS AFTER 90 DAYS OF
6/6/2001. ANY SUGESTIONS!!!

EAD RFE

EAD RFE is generally issued when your photographs are not proper. Reply to the RFE.

If you do not receive the EAD card by 9/20 go to the local INS and get an interin EAD.

My wife\'s EAD has an RFE because INS says we have not pad the fees for the EAD application. I had sent a cheque for $195 for EAD & AP for my wife\'s applications which has been cashed. Waiting for the bank to give a copy of the cancelled cheque which I will send as a reply to RFE. Will get the cheque in a couple of days.
