VSC , EAD card ordered message on website

Just checked the status of ead online, and got

"On April 19, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

this is at vsc RD 12/17/2003,current ead expires may 02,2004, anyone knows how long it can take for the order and mailing of the card. ? thanks
 
Shouldn't be long. Mine recent EAD renewal message changed from "card ordered" to "card mailed" in couple of days, and I've got the card within a week after that.
 
appointment letter from arlington,va

Received a appointment letter for next week from arlington,va cis.. saying that the ead is approved and I have to collect it from them bring id,proof of current residence and previous eads..

i was hoping to receive the card in mail...anyways,, have to go there.
 
Received EAD in mail

Fortunately, received EAD in mail this saturday and dont have to go to cis office..
