VSC: April & May 2000 approvals in May 2001 ?

Consider the following-
1) NDs from April onwards have already completed their FP.
2) Based on the sample at immitracker, it looks like April & May 2000 have less applicants.

Based on 1 & 2 above, VSC may process April & May 2000 cases by end of May 2001.

Any comments ?...

I don\'t think so. Still so many applications from Oct - Dec 99 are pending. Add to that the so many 245(i) applications that might have poured into VSC till Apr 30th.

I think EB2 Applicants with April 00 ND have a fair chance of being approved in MAy. Also, I am sure the 245(i) cases that were applied will not be touched for at leat a year. Those cases should be touched when INS comes to ND April\'01.

If VSC continues with the same phase, I will agree with u.As u said it is true we can expect any thing or predict dealing with INS.

if that is the case, INS will start processing 2001 cases by end of Nov. As you know guys, 140 is on hold for the past 4 months and there is big uproar in 140 discussion forum, so INS might take a big jump.

From what I learnt regarding the PD date regression occurred in
last April for Indian and Chinese, I believe that there are very
fews chinese and india applications after April, 2000 and after we
go throught March application, it will not take long for IIO to start
process June and July cases.

Just my thought.

My guess:
Apr-May2000 cases touched and covered mostly by end of May01
Jun-Jul-Aug2000 cases by end of Jun2001 or Mid July2001
Sep-Oct2000 cases by end of Aug2001 or Mid Sep2001
Nov-Dec2000 cases by end of Oct2001.

I don\'t mean all cases of that perticular month(00) completed in
given month of \'01. Similar to what we see now, we see approvals
from Aug99 till Apr2000 right now.

My guess might seem VERY VERY optimistic when we are dealing with INS!!

My Case got transferred to Baltimore on 4/27/2001.
Details
EB2 - India
RD - 8/12/00
ND - 9/11/00
FP - 12/00

Looking at this case details, no one understands at what point of time they look the I-485 file , ND,RD,PD

See his RD and ND are in Aug and Nov .

Any comments on this.
