VSC approvals, apparently genuine

There are 2 approvals, one with a confirmed EAC # ( ichecked it). Apparently at least one is not related to age out.
I have been hesitant to consider any news good; but this may very well be, especially after the past 6-7 weeks.

Sound like it is true..

I checked VSC thread.. Here are the receipt numbers from that thread..

EAC0205051067
LIN0205052311
LIN0205051213

Also, I saw few other threads which says they recieved RFE's for there 485.. which means INS is working on 485's.. but probably they are working very slow... But unfortunately TSC is not working itseems..

There was another one was well
eac0206x5xxxx which also was not RFE or age out. Even if TSC hasn't shown anything at least it seems that they are not at a stand still. Besides, this board represents only a small percent of all applicants.

According to the tracker, the last TSC approval was on 11/13/2002 (VIK99). The FP was done on 06/20/2002.

As you say, not everyone uses the tracker. One of my friend did his FP on 11/05/2002 and got his approval on 11/25/2002. Unfortunately, I do not know his RD/ND/EB/etc.

From the EAC/LIN petition numbers listed above, it appears that the RD/ND must have been in the first week of November 2001. Do you by chance know when they did their FP?

The LIN #s might not be meaningful but the EAC #s are.
LIN is Nebraska and the messages indicate that the cards have been ordered. This gives no information about when the 485 was actually approved. There may have been a delay between approval and stamping.

It is merely good news to see the approvals, since it would indicate that there is no "freeze" in processing. Things might be slow going; but at least there is progress. I had seen someone indicated that a lawyer thought that everything would stop until DHS was created in March. The approvals would seem to contradict that hypothesis.
