Folks,
My case got transferred to boston INS for an interview on November 9th. I was on F1 for the first 5 years in the US, and then on H1. (I-485, EB2, IND, ND: feb 12-2001)

Nothing specific in my file, expect that I get paid atleast 35% more than the salary on my offer letter. Does this cause any problems in the interview ?
Also, I have a living address in NH, my firm is based in NH. But I filed my taxes in FL last year, since I was here for most of the year(client site), but thru out the GC process I was maintaining my name on all utility bills NH, for proof of residency, does this situation cause any problems in the interview? I even gave my FP in NH, and did not have any problems with that.

Are there any precautions I need to take ?
Thanks for all the help/advice!!

Best Regards,
GG!

abci: What do we need for the interview?

hi Abci,

sorry to hear y\'r case got transferred too.
How long is the waiting for the interview usually take ?
Also, are you making any special preps. like taking y\'r attorney to the interview, or just walking in with all the documents ?

Thanks for the help.
Regards,
GG!

Hi...i am waiting for interview

Hoping to hear something in 6 months Max.

I think it is better to take an attorney. Heard you will be harrased less that way!

Also take all documents (whatever u have) fro proof of residency, marriage ...etc etc

takes about 6 months or so at Boston

I have seen a few postings on this site that Boston office is taking about 3 months to send you interview letter and interview will be after 4 to 6 months.

I guess you could contact congressmen for help. I think it is unfair to wait for 6 months after waiting for almost a year after 485.

I have seen a few cases (most of them for people who stayed more than 6 years in US) of transfer on this site. There was a thread only for boston interview people. You could search to find more info.

Goodluck.
