VSC 140/485 processing theory

I would like to bring a couple of things to your attention. First, as some of you know I was trying to track the all pending I140s concurrent filings in a mini thread (which was CLOSED by someone without my permission.) The purpose was to do a quick recap and collect data to see whether those still waiting might get a concurrent approval as per ohata memo. I thank all those who responded.

We have seen a massive jump in the 485 dates in the last update. I don't think they pulled these dates out of a hat. We have been seeing concurrent approvals lately from NDs in April, May, June, 2003 and later (see usnycus's concurrent approval) If you look at the 485 updates from Mar, Apr, May and June of 2004 the dates held steady at Feb 15, 2002 while we saw approvals with NDs later than that along the way.

I believe VSC might be implementing the ohata memo and it looks like some concurrent I140/485 applications will be on put on hold until 485 is ready to be processed as per ohata memo. In other words if your 140/485 ND is around Apri/May/June 2003 and your 140 is not processed expect a concurrent approval.

LaborApproved,

That mini thread nowhere mentioned your intentions about the FOM memo. It seemed like you were just trying to create a separate tracker. I closed the thread because we want people to update the tracker in one place and not confuse anybody with thousands of separate trackers. You were trying to spread the message that people don't update the consolidated tracker, which is not true.

From now on, there is going to be a single tracker by year which is common to the 140 and 485 threads, until we find something better.

Thanks

I do not think usnycus got concurrent approval.

I see a point in your efforts but it is duplicating the data. If you check the trackers - you will see that EB2/2004 have got FP notice in good number. That should point to what you are saying. I do not want to put it in words, cause on this board, in last 4 months, whenever I make a statement, it goes wrong and when I keep it to myself, it works out. Maybe you would like to search a little more and then guide us thru your processing theory.

Joyd,

I am correct when I say some people dont update their information. Look at the trackers you will see lots of people from 2003 and 2004 who have just disappeard with their case status. I had no idea I had to give my intentions before starting a thread. Closing the thread like that was just plain rude. I understand you are the moderator but don't take undue advantage of that.

J-

I like your posts. You can always PM me with your statements I will keep it to myself ;)

And for usnycus approval you are righy it was not really concuurent but his 140 was on hold for the longest time and after its approval and FP he got 485 in a few months. Going down the tracker I saw a few concurrent (one from patriot and souman_gc) approvals for NDs in april 2003
