I140/485 receipt notices

INS received my Concurrent filing package on 11/01 and I got all the receiept notices

140/485/EAD/AP

ND: 11/26

You mean EAD approval for Oct concurrent filling.

All my RD's were Sept'02 not recieved EAD approval. Can you give your EB category and state from where you applied.

How long normally does it take to get a FP notice after I-485 receipt date. My I485 RD is Dec. 2.

Will a message show FP notice being issued on online status check?

Will INS check 140 status before issuing FP notice, like for EAD or AP?

I was reading on the Murthy.COM, FAQ that there is no strict policy on FP issuance and that the FP notice is issued by contractors who do not have anything to do with the processing and hence you may get FP notices in 2 weeks or may take un to to 6 months or more. I do not think that not getting a FP notice is not something to be worried about as long as you have a Notice date for all you applications!

Actually, I just got FP notice tonight in the mail after back home. Hope I will get 140 approval soon (RD 3/8/02).

What is your I140 category? Is it a Labor Sustitue? My Nd is 06/08/02 and is a labor sustitute and if yours is a labor sustitute too then I am about 3 months behind you ...... Just got to keep the hopes up, I guess!

ND: Dec 5 (over 1 month)

Got AP at local INS due to urgent travel. They said interim EAD possible only if it is pending with VSC for more than 90 days.

mine is NIW, the slowest catagory I guess. but from VSC current processing report, they are process 5/31 NIW, so where is mine (3/8/02)??? I will have to push my lawyer again. Anyway, I have been through patient, anxious, and desperate, now, back to patient again ;) best luck to you too.

could you tell us which service you get your walkin AP? I am in Boston, I just send out my AP application to VSC last week, and won't expect to get it back anytime soon. Is it still possiblbe for me to get a walk-in AP somehow? thanks.

It has been three months and no reciepts yet from INS. H1 expires 23 this month.

From which INS office you got the AP? I am waiting for my EAD approval, passed 100days even though no signs.

I140- AD- ? no RFE or anything

I am not as lucky as the wonderfulboy above- cause maybe I have not been a wonderfulboy.
But I can not guess what could be so different about cases some people get I-140 in month and others not even in 8-9 months. Unless there is a RFE I would think FIFO should hold true. But that does not seem to be the case- the wonderful world of INS. I suppose govts. are the same all over.
