Vistor visa validity after extension rejection

:confused: :( Hi All,

Last time when my mother was here, we applied for her extension and it was rejected and by the time she received the letter, she had also crossed her 6 months.

Is her Visa still valid if she has to come know or she needs to apply for new visa. She had got 10 years visa.

Please respond.

IS there any way we would know this before she enters US or could we be prepared with any documents to avoid returing back to India?

How can we handle this suituation?
 
Correction of my previous post - Thanks to James Pace

Once the extension of stay is denied, the visa automatically is cancelled. You should apply for a new visa at the consulate before entering the United States
