Vistor Visa extension question -forum gurus

Hi,

I had a couple of question to ask

1. Anybody with the recent extension vistor visa approvals let me know the processing times for california and nebraska service centers? and any bad experiences.

2. I am planning of applying online and sending the documentation ? Any disadvantages using this method ?

3. Any sample letters that you would share for the approved visa . I am looking for approriate reasoning format used that will help.

4. My wife had a middle ear surgery and we couldn't travel do you think its approriate reason for asking the extension ?

5. I am under the assumption after reading several posts that in case the visa is denied and you travel back say 10 days from the date you received the letter then 10 years multiple visa is not necessarily void and depends on the officer at the POE next time you travel back and to keep all the documentation. Does anybody feel my understanding is incorrect.

Extension approved

Got the extension approved from the Nebraska center. Took two months for the approval applied in May and got at July End. No questions asked.
