Visting US & Canada

Hello,

A friend of mine is visiting the US from India next week. Potentially, we can visit Canada. Does he need to get the canadian visa at the canadian consulate in India? or can he obtain it at one of the Candian Consulates in the US. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.
 
If your friend is visiting the US on a B visa (tourist) they cannot get a canadian visit visa issued in the US.
They have to get the visa issued from the home country
 
You can apply for a Canadian tourist visa in the US even if you are in the US on a B visa.
Its only for immigration that the application has to be filed in the country of nationality
