Visits in 12 month period

Hi.

I have spent two 3 month periods in the US on vacation this year. I'm now back in the UK but would like to head back to the US later in the year.

Can I do this or do I need to stay out of the US for the rest of the year to avoid spending more than 6 months out of 12 months in the US?
