Visitors Visa- If the document is still valid?

Hi,
I want to bring my mom to US on visitors visa. We had send the the papers in May, but got the appintment in Chennai only in Sept 4th. Is all my document still valid, or should I send it again?

this would not help you much. but i have a question.

Did you apply for appointment in may and got the appt on september 4th? Or did you apply for the appt only recently?

how long is the wait for getting an appt? Is it a couple of months or less thana month?

I took the appointment in June, but got it only in Sept 4th. I don't know how long does it take now a days. There wasn't any apponitment available for 3 months at that time. Hope this helps
