Visitors Visa Cancellation if Extension Applied ?

Hello Everybody,

My mother has a 10 year visitor visa expiring in 2008 and she came to USA in Mar'05. She was given a stay for 3 months. Later, we applied for an extension and we got it for another 6 months until Dec 9 2005. She will be going back to India I-94 expiration.

I have few questions:

1. Will there be any problem if she tries to re-enter US after 6 months or 12 months ?

2. The current visa, is it still good as we applied for an extension ?


Any help is greatly appreciated.

What reason did u give for the extension in the I539 ?
Could you post your sample letter ?

Also did u send original I-94 or a copy ?
