Hello:
I am switching jobs and will be applying for my new H-1 visa in a week. We are expecting our first baby in the next couple of months and we would like to invite our in-laws so they could be here for the moment.
However, since I will be switching to a new job, my old employer cannot give me a letter of support. My new employer says he cannot give me a letter until my new Visa is approved.
Does anyone know what can be done in a situation like this? Is there any way out? Did anyone have this type of situation before? I searched through the messages as much as I could. I apologize if this has been answered before. I really appreciate any help or any direction/info that you could offer.
Thanks-
Jay.
