Visitor Visa: Strange sutiation

Hello,

My In-Laws has 10 years multiple entry visa. They visited us on 2004 and we applied for visa extension on May 2005 before 60 days before I94 expired. This application yet to be approved and they left on Aug 2005.

If they has to come to US now, would there be a problem with INS. What can I do to fix this problem.

I would write letter of explaination to service centre with case number and withdraw application
