Visitor Visa POE experience at Detroit

My mom flew into Detroit on May 15. The POE entry officer asked her how long she intends to stay. She showed her ticket (with a return date in 11 weeks) and replied three months. She was granted a six-month stay. There were no further questions.
She flew via Amsterdam and changed planes but she did NOT have a transit visa. There were no questions or problems in this regard.

having a trip USA - NATION - USA
if u have an Advance Parole,u dont need a transit visa
it\'s only if u have a visa.
