Visitor Visa on hold for sister(insufficient document to show relationship)

Hi,

Situation: I am a citizen who wants to sponsor my sister to visit me.Sister is married and settled in India.

Problem: I sent all the required papers and the officer has accepted all of them. But when he found out that I am a citizen he asked for an additional document that proved my relationship with my sister. Delhi embassy said no further interview required but need to show proof.

On the affidavit of support I wrote that I am going to support my sister financially when she is here. But that it seems is not enough. Under US law how can I prove my relationship to my sister?

By birthcertificate

You can send your birth certificate and your sister's birth certificate baring same parents names. That should do it.
