I am a US greencard holder and trying to apply for my parents visitor visa. Both of them were already here in USA once few years back.
My uncle filed for my parents greencard few years back but we havent heard any updates on that application. My problem is - If I mention that their GC is in progress, their B1 application will be rejected right away. But if I do not mention that fact in the application and if the consulate has a way to find out taht info somehow, they may blacklist my parents for providing incorrect information.
Does anyone have any idea if the consulate has access to the inforamtion that applicant GC is in fact in progress. If yes - why do they have this as a question in the visa application form anyways?
Any suggestion how should I proceed?
