Visitor Visa for my parents (Chennai)

Hi, my parents are going for visitor visa to Chennai in mid-May. My company has applied for my 7th year H1 extension, but I do not have the approval as yet.

Question: Will my parents have any problem in getting the visa without my H1 extension approval, current H1 expires in mid-June ?

My parents have been to US earlier on visitor visa, stayed about 5 months and went back, they had got only 6 months visa first time !!!!!

PLEASE REPLY ASAP with any suggestions....................!

This has been asked and answered several times.

As long as the extension was filed in a timely manner and you provide a copy of the receipt and possibly copy of application to your parents to carry they should be fine
