Visitor Visa extension issue - Please help

hi,

My Mom's I-94 expired in the third week of January but we have applied for extension about 5 weeks before the expiry date. We received a letter asking for additional information in the second week of March. The letter states that we need to submit all the requested documents by the first week of June and if not, the application will be denied.

What happens if :
we send all the documents in the third week of May ? What if the extension request gets denied? What are the consequences? What happens when she visits next time?

i don't see any problem

you could send the information now or wait and send the info in may. btw, what is the reason for RFE? what does it ask for? without knowing that info, it's hard to answer you question.

Thanks for your response. I am not sure why my Mom got RFE. It asked for a bunch of documents like her bank statmenets in US, her utiltiy bills here etc.

What are consequences if my petition to extend the visa gets rejected? What are the consequences when she visits next time? Her I-94 already expired.
