Hi All,
My mother got her visitor visa approved on March 2nd. She received the stamped passport next day through tt services. In the visa, the first name has one letter missing. Does it make any problem at customs and immigration officials?

Thank you.

Get name changed

Hi,

I would suggest to get the name corrected....it shouldnt take more than 1 day or so, I suppose....but why take chances at the POE ? With added security and computerized stuff, the immig officer might take an objection.

Thank you avdxz for reply.

Thank you avdxz for reply. I'm also including the questions that they asked my Mom. Translator was already there in the cube with officer it seems.

1Q. Since how long your son is staying in US ?
A. 5 Years

2Q. Where is he staying?
A. YYYY City.

3Q. How many months you're planning to stay?
A. 6 months.

4Q. Did your son applied for Green Card?
A. Yes.

After that they told my mom that she'll receive the passport in couple of days at home address. My mom took all property documents but they did not ask them it seems.

I hope this info helps.
