Visitor visa and passport expiry date

My parents are visiting me in January '07. However my mom's passport expires in Jun '07. I remember reading somewhere that the passport should be valid atleast 6months beyond the POE date. They will leave around April '07 long before the passport actually expires.

Any experience with this?

My parents have a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa and they have visited us before using the same visa.

the only problem will be that your mom will get stamp only till passport expiry date. No other issues.
The 6 month rule is for applying for Visa.
