visitor visa and I-797 approval validity date

Hi,

I am currently on H1-B and planning to invite my parents to US under tourist visa program. My current visa is expired but I have an approved petition (I-797) valid till end of June. I have already applied for H1-B extension and have the receipt notice of that application.

I am planning to invite my parents for about six months starting May 2004. So, they plan to stay till October of this year. In this case, can I send my receipt notice along with the current approval notice or do I need to wait till my new approval notice comes? They are planning to apply in Mar/Apr.

During H1 Transfer, Can I sponsor Visitor Visa

Hi Folks

One of my friend have filed H1 Transfer in California under Normal Processing. Also got his Receipt. Now he want to invite his parents for a pleasure trip. Here are my questions

1.Can he use the Receipt for applying the visitor visa?
2.Should he have to send all his H1B papers (which is old company info)?
3.Should he expedite his H1 transfer process under "premium" procesing.?
