Hi,
I would like to bring my father here to USA. I am green card holder. My father does not have any property on him. He has some cash in his account. What are all compulsory documents he has to take to American consulate. If he doesnt have any assets in india then is there any chance for him not to get visting visa. Please reply me. It is quiet Urgent.

You will need to send:

1. Affidavit of support form I-134 notarized.
Letter from your employer with job title, responsibilities and salary. Also include latest pay stubs. If running a business tax records and account statements,
Bank balance statements for the past 3 years.
2. letter describing what the visit is for and for how long.
3. A letter addressed to consulate requesting visa with a summary of supporting documents.
4. Copies of ALL pages of your passport.
5. Copy of both sides of your green card.
6. Any document proving parent-child relationship (a birth certificate, your school records, etc.)

From your father's side, any documentary evidence that will prove he has strong ties to his home country is what is really required. Your father will need to show ties to his home country. His source of income, his residence, other family members in that country, etc.
