Visiting home country when 458 stuck in name-check

Hi everyone,

My AP (2nd Advance Parole) and 1st EAD are valid till Mar-2006 and I wish to visit my home country sometime in Dec 2005 or Jan-06.

Has anyone, whose I-485 is stuck in name check, left USA to visit another country? What was the experience at the POE?

Your PD is 2001. You should get approved soon.
I went home in May this year through L.A. Everything was fine.

Mine is 08/01...stuck in name check ...
I went to India with a valid AP ...no problem there...
however, I am not sure about the "would get approved soon" part
looks like we are in forever...
