I got OCI for family from chicago. I submitted in person around 10 am. It took about 15 - 20 minutes for a family of 3 members. Only one lady was ahead of me. People at the counter are nice except one person who I believe now sits right infront of the door in hallway. He will check to see whether u have everything in order or not. If not he wont let u inside travisa office. He is very rude so be prepared, may be he will be good when u r there.
I got OCI including renouciation in 11 days from the day it received at indian consulate. I collected the OCI in person for the entire family last week monday.
