Visiting Canada

My parents are in USA on single entry visitors visa to USA.
They have been granted a stay of 6 months on their visit. Now it has been 2 months since they are here and I want to take them to Canada for 3 days time.

But before applying for Canadian visitors visa I wanted to know if they will be allowed to come back to US after our 3 days visit to canada?
Will it be considered as their second entry to USA for which they are not allowed as per the visa stamp (Single entry) on their passport.

Thanks!

A visit to Canada and back into US will not be considered as a second entry.

Do you know someone who has come in successfully with the same situation.
