Visiting Canada from US and returning to US on B1 Visa

Hi,

My parents are on B1 Visa and the I 94 is expiring on Sep 20th.

We have applied for extension and yet no signs of the approval.

1. Can we travel to Canada by flight and return before Sep 20th? Will a new I 94 be issued at the port of entry?

Even three months extension should be okay for us.

Appreciate your help.

Why leave?, you applied for the ext., just stay until you are ready to go home or if you get a no answer then go home. Remember no more then 6 months per year, otherwise you may get to goto secondary for more questioning!!!
