Hi,
I am working on H1 (previous two year extension expired on 25th Jan 2003, applied for 6th year before expiration and waiting for approval). I also have I-485 pending (Oct 2001 RD). My wife is on H4 and also have I-485 pending.
My wife is pregnant and we need some help from her or my parents whoever can get a visa to come over.
The questions are:
1. Can I sponsor them with I-485 receipt (don't have EAD or AP because we never applied for them)? Or should I wait for H1 extension to get approved and use that for sponsoring?
2. Who will be the sponsor? Can my wife be a sponser for her mom, although she does not work?
3. If my parents and my in-laws apply for visitor visa to the US embassy in Delhi almost at the same time, what could go wrong? Is it advisable to have both parents apply within few days of each other at the same embassy using the sponsor documents from the same person?
4. I saw some posts here where people suggested not to mention pregnacy as the purpose of visit, which I think is a valid point.
Any one with such experience, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help. Your help is extremly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
