Hi All,

My Dad got his visit visa application approved on second week of May, 2006. He was told that the passport will be sent for administrative processing which may take 3 to 4 weeks.

Well, it took about 6 months, and finally in second week of November they issued him 5 years multiple visit visa.

Lesson Learnt: Patience is the key; I know on some days I felt like going to the senator's office and have them do something about it and go through all the processes which we all can think of. I did not do any of those things and had faith that it will work out without any of those efforts, and it did.

I think each case is different, in my dad's case it took them 6 months; in some others it may take more or less.

Wish you all good luck.
