Hi all,
I am currently working on EAD after changing jobs under AC-21, 180+ days after filing 485. My parents will be applying for visit visa in a few weeks, with my sponsorship (I-134).
1. What all documents should I provide? I am currently including employment verification letter, paystubs, 485 receipt, EAD copy, copy of the whole passport, I-134, Bank Statement, cover letter.
2. Any pointers for the interview/docs they should carry?
3. Would the mumbai consulate see the difference between name of the firm on H1 or approved 140 and the current employment verification letter and question my status?
4. Do they understand AC-21 rules? Should I include a cover letter stating I changed jobs under AC-21, which is the rule as per.. blah blah blah? Or just say My current status is "pending employment based AOS" and I am currently working using EAD?
5. What other docs etc can I provide for them to have a better chance at approval?
Would appreciate ur sharing similar experiences and/or related advice.
regards,
