Hi, Finishing up my observations, there was a big banner posted over the INS general enquiry line with the following statement-" Please do not stand in line for questions regarding applications for Adjustment of Status filed after MAY 2001"
CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, BUT THIS SEEMS TO ME LIKE MOST 485 CASES FILED PRIOR TO 5/2001 HAVE BEEN ADJUDICATED FOR THEM TO BE HANGING UP A SIGN LIKE THIS!!!!!!
On a final not it seems like the BCIS has gone back to same day Citizenship certificates. 58 persons were interviewed and sworn in in a pretty smooth ceremony. Only 3 out of the 58 had waited 2 years to get sworn in. My friend filed his citizenship papers 3 months ago.
