USC is sponsoring an adult unmarried Canadian daughter. Can she visit as a tourist while waiting for the GC to go through? I've been told that it depends on whoever they encounter at the immigration desk at the airport, surely not?? Note that Canadians don't need a visa so it's not the case that a visa will be refused, but could they be turned away?
Has anyone done this?
