My hearty congratulations from me and others on your approval.
This waiting for GC is painful.

Can you come clean with us? Were you pretending to
be your co-worker and those other aliases that always
came in support of you when you were critized?

I don\'t expect you to reply, but if you come clean with
us you will have the respect of many. It takes a big
person to admit there past indiscretions.

Once again congrats.

Vishnu has already got his approval and has expressed a need to move on. Surely, you don\'t expect him to be hanging around after having said that. Anyway, this controversy erupted over 6 weeks ago and he has had enough time to come clean. If he hasn\'t thus far, we really cannot expect him to fess up now. I, for one, think there is enough circumstantial evidence to convince us.

I bear no harm to Vishnu, but my curosity got the better
of me and I wanted to know if he did have multiple aliases.

After all, if he did have multiple aliases know one died
as a result. So there is no harm done.

Like Kotag points somebody does not have to die for harm to be done. This site was totally disrupted in those days. New folks were cautious about posting fundamental questions because of chance of being rebuked, bullied and getting rude answers. Oldtimers were threatening to quit in disgust. After all knowledge transfer happens from folks who have been there, done that, to folks who are just getting their feet wet. No, they were not afraid, just disgusted. But, that defeated the purpose of this board. I have seen many posters now who are posting regarding issues that may concern them. It was not just multiple aliases it was also the behaviour. The multiple aliases were being used to steer this board in the direction one person wanted it to take. That reduces the utility value of this board significantly.

I didn\'t post my details as yet. My RD is 06/23, EB2 RIR,
India, FP notice 10/28 done 11/08 at San Jose (scheduled at Oakland).
There are lots of us lurkers about who don\'t want to
get dragged into the day to day waiting for approval.

Vishnu must have really messed with your minds. Now you
think he is posting to ask himself if he was posting
under multiple aliases!!

that the fact you post details to this site does not bind you to keep visitng this board everyday. You do visit this site now and then to probably track progress vis-a-vis other similarly placed cases, don\'t you? This tracking is made possible by folks like you posting details and consequently being part of PCee\'s lists. If everybody was a lurker and nobody posted details what would we use for tracking? Know what I mean?
No, not for a minute did I think that you were a new alias of vishnu. Looks like asking you to post details put you in a spot of bother. If we didn\'t ask you, wouldn\'t tell, would you? Just asking for details to improve trend tracking. That\'s all. Now, do you know why I suggested that we let this topic go? Such things have a tendency of dragging on. wish you a speedy approval.
