I am currently on H1 visa which will expire in Aug 2005. I am in the process of changing my job and will file for H1 transfer in Feb 2005.
When INS will grant my H1 transfer, will they them self extend my H1 to some more duration or will they keep my expiration date same as Aug 2005. In the later case I will have to again apply for my extension
( some time close to May - june 2005) which is of my concern.
My employer has asked me to pay intially for all INS related expensed and will later (???) pay me. That is why now I have to count every penny I will be spending.
Any advise will be of great use to me.
