Visa to Japan on RTD?

Hi friends
I just talked with one of guys in Japanese Consulate in San Francisco over the phone. He told me that I have to wait about one month to get visa to Japan, I just wanted to visit Japan for one week. Did anybody traveled Japan on RTD? How long it took to get visa?

it takes 5 to 7 days to get visa to japan

i travel to japan 2 to 3 times a year using RTD ,

my wife is a japanese citizen, i always apply for visa at japanese counselate
on san francisco,

employees at this office are pure idiots,dont listen to them,

each time i go there and i apply for visa they tell me it takes more than one month to get visa,

im always get visa in less than a week, the visa processing is done at the japanese foreign ministry on tokyo,

never listen to those local employess at the counselate

How do you bypass those idiots? I went to the consulate today, and she made it so hard to get a visa

just explain to them that you know that its up to the japanese foreign ministry

to grant you visa, counselate employees have no power on visa desicions

tell them that its their job to accept your application,

tell them you want to speak to their supervisor,

what those employees doing is descrimination,

they have to accept your application,

and then it will be up to japanese government to grant you visa

i always hated japanese counselate, if you are white american they will kiss your butt,

if you came from 3rd world country they will look down at you

I travelled to Japan last year with RTD.I didn't have my GC at the time and I had to show my asylum grant letter,a reciet which shows I applied for the GC,Invitation from the company in Japan and letter from my company.
They are pretty strict but if you have everything the processing time is 3-5 days.
