HI, I just joined this site and i really need help. I have a couple of questuins. Heres my situation. Im a f-1 student and my visa got terminated because i was working more than the maximum hrs. I was not aware of it and when i got hired for the job on campus i told my dso and she said once i do not work off campus thats fine. i have been working on campus for over 2yrs now and have been working more the the 20 hrs. my dso sees me everyday and did not say anything to me. now all of a sudden she tells me that she has to terminate my visa and that i will noe be allowed to work at all, not even the 20hrs. i had two jobs i worked for the college bookstore and the student housing for the college. i was full time at the housing and part time at the bookstore. i told her that i was going to work on the housing as well as the bookstore. she never said anything to me about working over 20hrs.
My visa would have expired in august and i was planning on doing a extension or transfering somewhere else. Now she tells me that i can apply to reinstate my visa, i have no idea how to do that and she did npt explain it to me. Now i am without a job and will be homelesspretty soon. My aunt that took me up went through difficulity and her husband does not want me living with them. i just need to finish the semester and go home. Is there anything that i can do so that i can work the 20hrs per week? i have no financial support. this would hae been my 2nd to last semester. Can she terminate my visa without a written or verbal warning? She came to the bookstore and pulled me from my job and i got fired from both job that very same day. Is that possible? Can i not ar least work the 20hrs even though she terminates the visa?
