visa stamping without MS degree

Hi all

I came to US on F1 to do my masters. I have defended my thesis but yet to submit my documentation, so i dont have my degree with me. i joined a consultant and got a H1 last year in dec and started my project in February this year (so there is a two month gap.) I want to go to india for my stamping. I have two questions. What happens in this case where there is a gap of two months between my starting on H1 and my first pay stub. Also do i need to show my MS degree for stamping or can I just show the transcript.

Any suggestions and thoughts are appreciated.

When I applied in Chenai Consulate, they did mention that they need the original degree certificate and transcripts.

Regarding two month gap, didn't you have OPT card with you for that time period, if have that, then it is enough to prove you maintained status for those two months.
