Visa Stamping for H1 in Mexico

Hi All,

I got transferred my status from H4 to H1 never got the stamped for H1 and I am in US working.Have a valid date on I-94 . Now my question can I go to visa stamping to Mexico ?
I am not able find proper information on this.Please advise.
