H1 stamping Montreal, CANADA
Hi Folks,
Please share your recent H1 stamping experience at Montreal , CANADA. I am planning to schedule appointment based on your feedback.
My case....
I am an Indian citizen with H1B visa. I have had my first H1 got stamped from home country Chennai INDIA . Got new I 797 with new employer now . Living near Boston ,thats why planning to go to Montreal nearet to my place.
1)"Consular officers in Canada may refuse to issue a visa to H-1B applicants if their education and /or work experience is solely or predominantly from a country other than the U.S. or Canada." This is from nvars website ? is it true ?
2)Does this stamping consider as New or Renewal ? as I switched the employer
3) Do they handover passport on the same day ? If not what is the procedure ?
4) what are the good hotels and visiting places near by ?
5) How do we get Canada visa ? what are the documents required for it ?
6)I have my all education from India and heard they might send me back to India for stamping.? Is that true ?
7) while I was going thru all these messeges here found some thing interesting, why people are talking abt finger printing ? what we need to do with it ?
I would appreciate any responses.
