Visa Stamping Emergency Appointment - please help

Hi guys…

I am currently working on H1-B and need to go to India in June. Does anyone know about the emergency visa appointment in India?
From VFS website this qualifies for emergency appointment.

H and L visa renewals for applicants who are already working in the U.S and are returning to their jobs.

In my case, my last H1-B visa expired in 2004. I got the renewal petition approved in 2005 and after few months of that, I changed my employer (H1B Transfer). Now the confusion is if this qualifies for emergency appointment or not? Can someone please help?

yes you qualify for emergency appointment. If you are going for stamping in Mumbai you might not need one, because dates for normal and emergency are same when I checked this morning.
