Visa stamping and Passport expire date

Can someone please help me?

My wife and son have an Appointment at US consulate Toronto on Jan 25th with me for there H4 visa stamping for 7th year extension. (Sixth year visa on passport will expire on April 30th 2007)

Their Passport will expire on October 11th 2007, It is necessary to renew before stamping on January 25th 2007?

Not necessary.In future they will need to carry the new passport along with the old passport (with the visa stamp).

You may want to call the Indian Embassy and confirm.

My experience is, you should have atleast 6 months of validity to your passport when applying for multiple entry stamping. I think you should be ok. Might want to check the U.S immigration web site.

visa stamping

please tell me the step by step that i have to take to get an appointment for stamping at toronto, canada. I am in cleveland, OH. I need stamping for 7th year extension. can i get appointment together for my son and wife.
I need every thing in detail including my boarding and lodging.can i go by car.
