I just changed my visa from J-1 to H-1B, and my wife from J-2 to H-4. My wife wants to go back China to pick up our daughter soon, and she would like go to Canada to have visa stamped. But we have got a Canada green card last year. One of my friends has the same situation, and he got his H-1 stamped, but his wife got a B-1 visa,(meaning change from H-4 to B-1). I was wondering if anyone has this situation before or do you think we can got the visa stamped as H-1 and H-4. Thank you for your help!
